The first new skill I want to learn is inserting video and audio files into PowerPoint. I need to learn this new skill for various reasons, the most important of which is my current educational path. It appears that I will be doing a lot of powerpoint presentations. If not now, then in the future. My first step toward achieving this goal is to conduct an online search for Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint. I went to PowerPoint support and watched an audio/video clip demonstrating how to add and delete audio and video from a PowerPoint presentation. I practiced a few and gained confidence by using this tool. My goal date was the due date of this paper, which was 09/02/18.

The second new skill I hoped to learn by the target date of 09/02/18, which also happens to be the due date of this paper, was how to create a spreadsheet in Microsoft Excel. As surprising as it may seem, I did not use Microsoft Excel during my undergraduate studies. And unfortunately, I believe I am the only adult in college who lacks this education. To better understand this, I conducted a similar search on Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel. I attended Excel training and learned how to make a new table. I did several tables to become acquainted with it. I can do it independently but I don’t think I’m ready to teach others.
Online services are the third new skill I believe will benefit me to learn. I had set the target date for 09/02/2018, which was also the target date for the other goals. I put a lot of time and effort into this goal because it was my first time hearing of survey monkey. I did a lot of research on it and discovered that it is a company that helps people collect surveys. It is also possible to remain anonymous. However, I review how-to guides and tutorials on the survey monkey website. However, I did not go any further because I lacked References.
